My Ocean City MD Trip!

Our Trip to Ocean City, Maryland

Hey guys I want to share some of the beautiful image from our little Ocean City trip this past weekend. It\’s a little Ocean side town in Maryland that I spent many summer weekends at as a kid. It\’s only a 3hr drive from my house and this time of year it\’s half closed because it\’s off season, which always means we have the whole beach and boardwalk to ourselves. I really loved the morning sunrises over the water, with the seagulls flying around. It really is more than stunning view with such a relaxing soundtrack of the waves crashing in on the beach all day and night.

(The 6:15 am sunrise off the balcony of our hotel room.)

We stayed at the Dunes Manor Hotel as we always do, the rooms are clean and roomy with an ocean view, not to mention the staff is always amazing. The one thing I love about the Dunes is every time I walk into the lobby/hotel no matter when it always smells so good. Then have a huge room where you can hang out and relax, have a few drinks and listen to some music being played on the piano. They also have an in-house restaurant, and a huge back deck that faces the ocean. All the times we stayed there I have never had an problem, and they\’ve never given issues about brining a service dog. As you can see there s a bright fresh vibe all throughout the hotel, which is just what I\’m looking for because I\’m one of those people that hates sleeping anywhere but my own bed. I guess it\’s the idea that other people slept there before me, so it helps when they\’re on top of the whole cleaning situation.

After we checked in to the hotel and got settled, we went out and ventured around to see what was going on, but like I said it\’s off season so only a few all year round spots where still open. We walked the beach, checked out a few stores and grabbed some caramel popcorn from Dolle\’s. It\’s an amazing little candy spot that\’s been there as long as I can remember, they have the most amazing caramel popcorn. We had some boardwalk pizza and Rob retreated back to the room for a nap, seems the 3.5 hour drive left him tad sleepy, so I took the time to get in some me time. I pulled out my beach blanket and enjoyed some Natty Bo, Crab Shack Shandy on the beach just enjoying the waves, it was so relaxing!!

The first night we ate at a restaurant called Touch Of Italy, it\’s a little Italian joint that turned out to be pretty darn good. I had ravioli and Rob got the salmon. They had cases of all kinds of yummy stuff, but you know it was the sweet that caught my eye…lol…because everything was so colorful and beautiful. As you can see Piper more than helped me make my selection, she\’s always front and center when food is involved.

The 2nd day was much like the 1st, a lot of walking around and just relaxing. We stopped into BJ\’s On The Beach to meet my mom for lunch, she lives just outside of Ocean City so she drove up for a bit so we could get together. All in all it was just a quick 2 night stay to escape the everyday grind and recharge, I think these little trips are super important and definitely a must. Otherwise I fear I would go koockoo…lol! Have you ever been to Ocean City MD? If so whats your favorite thing to do while you\’re there or favorite place to eat? We plan to go back soon once the season starts and everything opens up, so I would love to hear your ideas and faves!!

Our Annapolis Shoot

Our Beautiful Annapolis Shoot
&
A Giveaway!!!

We went to Annapolis last week for a phototshoot with my friend Tia, we spent most of the day schmying around and exploring all the little shops and restaurants, walking the piers and side streets. I had no idea how interesting the capital is. Yup that’s right…Annapolis is the capital of Maryland, a lot of people think it’s D.C. which is a common mistake that I must admit even I made at one time. It was originally called Providence by the Puritans, then later it took on the name of Anne Arundel’s Town, after the wife of Lord Baltimore, the owner of the proprietary colony. Then finally Sir Frances decided to honor Princess Anne, heir to the throne. In 1708 the Queen chartered her colonial namesake as her city. Her crown badge over the entwined thistle of Scotland and Tudor Rose of England are proudly displayed on the Annapolis flag. For over 300 years this beautiful little town has brought in millions of visitors from all over the world. The many small winding streets of Annapolis are home to some pretty amazing shops, restaurants, and bars.

Of all the great stores there\’s such a variety of different items, if you want clothes there\’s a White House Black Market, Hats in the Belfry, Black dog, Chico’s, The Pink Crab, and Diva. Then there are plenty of jewelry and accessory stores, then there\’s art galleries, craft stores, and even furniture and decor shops. A girl can get lost in all the fabulousness Annapolis offers. Then not far outside of downtown there\’s Annapolis Mall, another jackpot of amazing shop spots. It’s a great area to spend the day exploring, and just amercing yourself in all that is Annapolis. We met Tia our doll of a photographer at the top of Main Street by the Starbucks, then we (myself, Piper, Rob and Tia) made our way down Main Street towards the docks. We stopped into Kilwin’s Chocolate & Ice Cream…definitely one of my favorite spots. You guys know about my crazy sweet tooth, plus they always have fresh made chocolate, ice cream and everything else you can think of. We got a cone and some chocolate to help us enjoy the 75 degree February day even more. As you can see in the pictures Piper enjoyed that rainbow ice-cream as much as I did, if not more..lol!

(Just chilling\’ on Easy Street!)

(Fun Fact: Did you guys know that Pip is my little nickname for Piper?)

We walked all the way down to the docks as we strolled down the cozy little brick sidewalks and streets. There is such a charm in Annapolis that it puts you in the coolest mood, not to mention all of the history that it encumbers. All within a few blocks of one another you have the State House, the District Court House, and City Hall. This kinda gives you an idea of how small downtown Annapolis is, but what she lacks in size she sure makes up for in charm. If you’ve never visited the Capitol of Maryland you should plan a day trip, you’ll more than love it. It\’s amazing how overtime I go I enjoy myself to the point that the whole day passes before I know it, giving me the feeling that I didn\’t see enough, and leaving me wanting to come back for more. One of my favorite spots was the mural below that we found on one of the little backstreets, isn\’t it the cutest street art you\’ve ever seen?

(I\’m on a mission now to find more great walls like this in Baltimore MD. If you guys know any plz let me know!)

Annapolis has all kinds of museums and fun activities, especially during the summer months. They just had a huge St.Patty\’s Day Parade this past weekend, I\’m really bummed I missed it. I\’m hoping I can find something fun to attend here in Baltimore, there\’s usually a really fun event in Little Italy. Quick heads up…if you go to Annapolis, stop by the Annapolis Visitor’s Center on West Street and get all the good info, along with a map of the area. That way you won\’t miss any of the good stuff…but then again it\’s all good stuff. Trust me the day will seem to fly bye in a second, and like me you\’ll already be looking forward to the return trip. I hope you all had a fab weekend, all of the outfit deets are listed above. All of the pictures were taken by: Tia Bustanoby a great photographer friend of mine, check her out on Instagram! @tjulietephotography
Before I go I want to show you guys a new sweater I got from Chicwish, and tell you all about a HUGE GIVEAWAY i\’m running!!

(Outfit Deets: Heart Sweater by Chicwish, Destroyed Denim by American Eagle Outfitters, Handbag by Michaels Kors, Sunglasses by Red Label Eyewear)
Take note to the cute minty green box in the above picture, that\’s my StatusBox and inside is the cutest smart watch ever. I can wait to charge it up and start wearing it on my am runs to see how well I do each day. I have a feeling it will help me to run harder and smarter and get more benefit out of my exercise. It has so many neat options and abilities, I can\’t wait to give it a good run and share my thoughts with you guys, in the meantime check out Misfit and StatusBox.

I ordered the above oh-so-cute pink heart sweater from Chicwish 2 weeks ago, it\’s a great spot to order clothes, they have really cute stuff at great prices. The only thing that drives me crazy is the shipping takes forever. Either way I\’m so over-the-moon about this new sweater, that the long shipping issue has fallen by the waist side. It\’s so soft, cuddly and thick, plus it looks great with my AEO TomGirl, destroyed denim jeans, and the pink shade matches my nude leather MK bag to perfection. I plan to wear a cotton white top under it…either a spaghetti strap tank or scoop neck long sleeve top, depending on weather it\’s really chilly or not. I\’m always the one saying I\’m hot, and as annoying as it is I\’m never comfortable. Good thing is the way the sweater is made there is a bit of air that will flow through it due to the tiny holes from the crochet. The only thing that annoys me is there is no closures in the front. Maybe I\’ll sew on some cute buttons, or clasp hooks? Hey it\’s an idea, in the meantime I\’m absolutely in love with this sweater. Cool thing is they make it in a couple different styles, so I can definitely see myself getting one or two more come fall. So what\’cha think..is it as amazing as I think it is?..lol!!

I Love New York!!

The Other Side of Fashion Week!

I spent half of my 7 days in New York exploring the city to find fun things to do, along with trying all the local restaurants. I put this post together of my favorite places to eat and places to go during my trips to NYC for Fashion Week. Check them out for yourselves, I\’m certain you\’ll love them as much as I do!! Thursday the 8th started off a little bit crazy to say the least. Rob and I got up pretty early to get to Penn Station with plenty of time. The night before I packed everything up in my new Calpak suitcase, and set it all bye the front door with my handbag, shoes and jacket.
I\’m happy to say because my suitcase is the 28\” size, that it fit most of both Rob and I\’s clothes, shoes, and then some. There was just a suite bag that Rob puts his two suites and a pair of dress shoes in. so it would not be folded and wrinkle the jackets he left it hanging in the closet ….that decision would be the cause of some serious stress…lol! Long story short while we where preparing to board the train, I realized that Rob didn\’t grab that bag on our way out the door, so we had to call a Lyft to take him back to the house to get the bag. Then I had to pay Amtrak to move the tickets ahead an hour and a half. Once that set back was averted we boarded our train and started off for New York. The train ride was cozy and calm as usual, I always enjoy taking the Amtrak train. We rode in the business section so we could sit at the tables and get some work done on the 2.5 hour trip. They have wifi and two plugs at each seat, and that\’s all I need to be a happy camper. Plus I made sure that I dressed comfy in sneakers, jeans, and a comfy MK tunic sweater.

Once we got there I called a Lyft to the hotel so we could settle in to meet up with Lei and Mike, then get something to eat. We were starving since we hadn\’t had a minute to grab anything to eat all morning, aside from a small bag of pizza goldfish I had stashed in my bag. Thank Goodness I always make sure to pack something to snack on with a couple of drinks. Once we made it to the The Double Tree by Hilton on Stone Street, we unpacked a few things, ate some food that Lei picked up from Jollibee ..thank goodness. Then we headed right back out the door to do some exploring. It was around 2pm, the first place we headed was the World Trade Center because it was a 10 minute walk from our hotel. We stopped at the memorial and then moved on to walk through the Westfield/World Trade Center Mall, wow was that a wild looking structure. The whole inner core of the mall was underground, and what was above ground looked like a huge white bird.

The interior mirrored the outside because it looked like a inner rib cage. The whole interior of the mall was white, with white marble floors, glass and chrome elevators and escalators that went to all different floors, exits, and entrances that led up to the street to get a cab or the bus, or down to the subway. It\’s definitely a huge thorough-fare for thousands of people every day, boy was it packed. Not it it had all the best stores….UGG, Kate Spade, Coach, Gap, Banana Republic, Godiva, Apple, ALDO, Cole Hann, Dior Beauty, The Rack, and many more! Then if you went down a level and followed the walkway underground, it took you to another section called Westfield Mall. There were a ton of other stores such as Victoria\’s Secret, Tory Burch, Philosophy, under Armour, and so on. This was one of the nicest malls I\’ve seen in a while, though I have to admit the prices were twice what they are in Maryland at my local mall, so it\’s safe to say I didn\’t do any real shopping. Once we finished wandering the mall we took the escalator up to the street and headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. On the way we stopped into the National Museum of the American Indian, and interestingly enough it was full of so many neat items.

The center of the entire museum was so grand and beautiful, it had all sorts of stunning New York images painted on the ceilings. Then in the center it was a huge circle and the exhibits where off to the four corners. The best one was The Infinity Of Nations Exhibit, it is full of all sorts of different items of clothing, which seemed perfect for fashion week. They had so may different tribes and styles that no two where anything alike, it\’s so amazing how detailed everything is, it\’s all so in depth it makes you wonder how they did everything by hand. They didn\’t have any machines to make it for them. there where thousands of beads and shells all sewn individually together to form a pattern. One of my favorite items was a small doll that I noticed right off the bat, OMGoodness it\’s so cute and it even had a pair of little moccasins, with a matching head piece and necklace. This let\’s us know that from day one we have always accessorized…lol!!
Now let\’s get down to detail, this next shot is what I was talking about when I said individual beads were sewn together to form a pattern.
Look closely and you\’ll see how amazing this workmanship is, not to mention I\’m loving all the color, especially the pink and baby blue together.
If you guys could have seen how super tiny they were, now that I think about it all of the wemon\’s stuff was super tiny. I think some of it may have been to tiny for even Lei to wear.

Then there was the wedding dress and again it was so tiny, the person that wore it couldn\’t have been more than 5 foot tall and 95lbs. Then they had the coolest fur lined coat, it reminds me of the style we\’re all wearing now, just a little less modern. That\’s one thing about us humans, we recycle styles from generation to generation. My mother is constantly telling me that I\’m wearing things now that where popular when she was a kid. Hence ripped or destroyed denim jeans, I\’ll never hear the end of that one…lol! I always tell her.. \”Ma you should start a clothing line, because it seems you know what will be in style next before it even happens\”. Does this mean I\’ll see people starting to wear Skidz and Jynco jeans again? I hope not because that was a horrible trend, one that I look back on and think OMG what was I thinking.

After we finished exploring the museum we headed back to the hotel to get dressed and head out to dinner. We want to a great little Philipeno restaurant called Maharlika at 111 1st Avenue. As you know Lei is Philipeno, she\’s always telling me about authentic Philipeno food and how amazing it is, so you know I had to try it. Maharlika is the cutest little spot with the nicest staff. Lei and I started off with a drink called the Baguio Breeze, and wow was is delish. The only way I can describe how it tastes is like pineapple hard candy, let\’s just say I had more than one. For the food portion we ordered something called the Kamayan Feast, wow you guys this was an amazing meal and huge as you can see, definitely more than enough for the four of us. There was a little bit of everything all laid out on banana leaves and rice….chicken, fish, pork, veggies…and then some. The whole idea of the meal is to eat with your hands, no forks and knives, just dig in with your fingers. I have to say it was such a great experience, everyone was full and licking their fingers by the end of the evening.

For dessert we had the coconut flan, which is really good. I had never had flaun before, it\’s a warm coconut flavored type of custard. I loved the light syrup that it sat in, along with the strawberry to cut the sweetness. It was the perfect end to a delicious evening. I really loved the mellow and cool feel of Maharlika.
Note…they played the best music all night, it\’s just a great atmosphere, you guys will absolutely love it, I know I did!!
After dinner we headed back to the hotel to get some rest, after a day of travels I would say we were all pretty exhausted. The next morning we got up kinda early to start out and find a great breakfast spot. On the way we stopped by the Fearless Girl Statue to take a fun shot, I absolutely love the way it turned out. It\’s fun shots like these that made me fall in love with photography and blogging in the first place. If I can make one person smile through my photography and writing, than I feel like it was all worth it, plus it\’s always so much fun.
For breakfast we settled on a spot called Zucker\’s Bagels & Smoked Fish, located on Chambers Street. Coincidentally it was National Bagel day so I got my favorite.. a huge bagel and egg sandwich with american cheese, raw purple onion and tomato. Everyone at the table agreed that the bagels where super fresh, we all enjoyed what we ordered. With full bellies we called a Lyft to start heading over to Central Park.
Rob wanted to see the Dakota and make a stop at Strawberry Fields, as he has a huge admiration for John Lennon. We really enjoyed the Imagine tiles, it made for a great picture as well as a reminder of how many amazing artists we lost this past year. They all will be greatly missed, but their gift of music will remain with us forever to help us through both the good times and the bad. We walked around in Central Park for hours, and we got so many great shots due to all the neat little bridges and nooks all throughout.

This last shot just above is from the lookout tower, it\’s part of a cool little castle tucked within the Park. As you can see it provides a beautiful city line view. We all really enjoyed spending the day in Central park, and believe it or not we only covered a small section in all the time we were there.
I can\’t wait to go back in September so I can see what it all looks like when it\’s nice and green. We wanted to go to Washington Park where the huge archway is, but because we assumed it was an entrance to or part of Central Park. We had no idea it was a whole different park, so I guess we\’ll cover that one next time. It was around 2pm when we left, because Lei and I had another event to attend in Manhattan at 4pm so we started heading back to the hotel to get ready. On the way we stopped into the neatest little spot called Eggloo located at 60 Mulberry Street, in Chinatown. I have been seeing the pictures of these waffle cones for some time now, and you guys know I have a killer sweet tooth, so I just couldn\’t help stopping in. They were so massive fun and colorful, not to mention delicious.
We told them to give us the cutest ones and they sure obliged, the staff was super nice and accommodating because they made the order super fast and just how we asked. Then on top of all that there where tons of people in the store so I know they were super busy. The cones really hit the spot, I tell yah I sure wish we had a Eggloo in Baltimore. That\’s one thing about New York, there\’s always a HUGE array of amazing sweet treat spots to choose from. After we gobbled up our waffle cones Lei and I headed off to the Fashion Week Couture Event. Afterwards we met the guys for dinner at a spot called Fig & Olive, it\’s located at 420 West 13th Street, in the Meat Packing District.
i was really impressed by the great feel of this restaurant, it has a modern chic vibe and their menu is created around local seasonal foods, which means it\’s constantly changing and that I love.
I ordered the Fig & Olive Tajine, it was a brothy dark meat chicken dish, and the meat was cooked perfectly and falling off the bone. The broth was full of delicious veggies and sided with couscous, sliced almonds, and some yummy sauces. Rob and Mike ordered the Province Roasted Amish Chicken platter and Lei got the Grass Fed Filet Mignon.
Again everyone at the table was super happy with their meal. The place was packed with the best music playing via DJ in the front dinning room.
We had an Apple Tart for dessert, it was so big that it was more than enough for all four of us. Before this trip I had never heard of Fig & Olive, so I\’m delighted that I found a new restaurant that I like, and even more delighted that there\’s one in my area.

Especially with desserts like this, you know I\’ll fo\’sho be there…lol..and the drinks OMGoodness they were amazing too. They also have a huge wine and drinks list, they can make ust about anything you want. Happy Hour is from 4pm -7pm every day,  the specialty cocktails are only $9. Try the raspberry Mojito or the Cucumber Cosmo, or one of their housemade cocktails for only $8, and pair it with one of their cheeseboards. It\’s the perfect way to get a meal off to a fabulous start!  I can\’t wait to go and try some more of their cocktails and delish dishes at the D.C. location near me.

As the day started to come to ad end I can tell you this, I was so tired that the second my head hit the pillow I was out and I slept very very well. The next morning was a Saturday, we had a early morning event to attend so we left the guys at the hotel and went to hang out backstage at a show. We got our hair done and schmyed around with all the stylists, who were so amazing and down to earth by the way. Lei and I grabbed a sandwich from a little deli while we waited for the show to start. After the show ended we headed to Mamo to meet up with Rob and Mike for lunch at 1pm, it\’s located at: 323 W. Broadway. I ordered a little pasta and marinara sauce with fresh parmesan cheese, wow was it  good.

They started us off with some crusty bread and olive oil, which ended up being perfect to dip in the sauce and eat while twirling my pasta. It was a cute little spot with a classy style. While we were eating we got a pleasant surprise, another blogger friend of ours Allison walked in the door. Of all the places in New York she walks into the one we we\’re eating, it was good to see her and say hello.
This is one of the things I love most about Fashion Week, so many ladies from all over the world come to New York, it\’s great that we can all meet up for lunch or dinner. I also love running into them at the shows, this year I saw so many other influencers.
(Keep an eye out for the Fashion side of my trip, the post is coming up soon!!)

For dessert I had a slice of cheesecake and WOW was it good. Definitely my favorite bite of the day, that\’s for sure. What can I say I love me some sweets….and cheesecake is high on my list of faves. It just wouldn\’t be me without some good dessert porn..lol! That evening after the Simply Event Lei and Mike started home, they have two little ones they had to get back to. I admit I too was anxious and missing Piper like crazy. So much that I called the puppy spa she was staying at to ask how she was doing and what she was up to like 5 times. I also wrote out a full review on Instagram if you guys are looking for a place to take care of your fur babies while you\’re on vacation or just out of town. It\’s called Debendale Kennel & Spa, all the info is on Piper\’s Instagram page @piperthepin. The rest of the evening we took to relax and enjoy the downtime, especially since the past couple days had been go, go, go!! I sat down with a glass on champagne and enjoyed the beautiful view from my room.
Check this out!!

That\’s Freedom Tower just in the back, this is how close the hotel was. I really like when it got dark because the whole window lit up with the skyline and it looked quite magnificent.
The Double Tree was an excellent choice, the beds where super soft, the rooms where clean, and the staff was more than helpful! Next time though we have to get a room right in the middle of Manhattan, perhaps around or bye Time Square. That way we won\’t have to spend so much money on Lyft cars back and forth. It\’s much cheaper than a taxi but it adds up quickly, so I definitely plan to keep it at walking distance this coming September. I\’m excited to say that I\’m already planning for my return trip, and this year I have Paris Fashion Week in my sights. The next morning started out much like the one before, only this time we went to a place called Pick A Bagel for breakfast, it too had amazing fresh bagels but they were more moderately priced, which is always good.

After breakfast we headed off to Century21 Department Store to do a little shopping. The thing I love about Century21is they have the best brands for the best prices. I was able to get a full outfit for under $100 bucks. It consisted of a Tommy Hilfiger v-neck pink sweater, a pair of Pistola star jeans, and a MK reversible belt. I\’m so  proud of myself because I only had a gift card for $100, and I still have $9 left. I scooped the MK belt for $29, come on now you just can\’t beat that.

After our shopping excursion Rob and I retreated to the hotel room until my last event at the Mercedes Benz Dealership, then we headed off to our final dinner in New York at a restaurant called  TheP, which is located at: 1439 2nd Avenue. I can\’t wait to share this final one with you guys, as it\’s the best Thai food in New York for sure. It has the coolest vibe with a fun eclectic style,  and they have a menu that includes pictures of each dish, that way you get a better idea of what you\’re ordering.
I got the pineapple fried rice with chicken, and Rob got the steamed striped bass, not only was the food delicious they also take the time to make sure it looks as good as it tastes. They served it in a hollowed pineapple, topped with fresh tomatoes, cilantro, and lemon slices. As I ate I got the best bites of fresh pineapple and chicken.
Rob\’s dish looked equally spectacular, it came in
the cutest fish shaped bowl sided with brown rice and I mean the real deal. The service was on point, our waitress was so helpful in explaining the menu, and that\’s very important when it\’s your first time in a restaurant. I always ask the waitress when it\’s my first time what it is that he or she likes. That gives me a better idea of what\’s good from an insider\’s perspective. Nine times out of ten it\’s usually spot on, only because they\’re there all day every day, which means most likely they are eating the food. They also had a list of amazing drinks along with a full bar, I regret not seeing some of the images for the drinks or I definitely would have ordered one. Eating at TheP sure makes me wish we had a good Thai food restaurant in Baltimore, something authentic, I had no idea it was so darn good. I guess I have to start doing some research, even if it\’s a bit further out I\’ll drive there for really good food. By the time we were done eating, and I didn\’t have room for one more bite they brought out the dessert which was an amazing mango sorbet that I oh so suddenly had room for…lol!

They also have a lot of outdoor seating in the summertime, so I\’m certain we\’ll enjoy the return trip in September. Bye the time we left the restaurant I was more than ready for bed. On the last day we made our way to the Statue of Liberty, well across from it that is., we stopped at Battery Park to take some pictures and check out the shoreline, they really made it quite beautiful. Again another park I can\’t wait to come back and see when it\’s green and lush. If you look hard in the picture below you can just make out Lady Liberty….barely.

There are so many great parks in New York that we can\’t wait explore!
Then their\’s the buildings and monuments, as well as the statues. We\’ll never run out of things to do and see, in a way I\’m proud of myself, I even got Rob in on the action. Now he really enjoys taking pictures with all of the different people we run into and meet while in New York. I think I\’ve converted him, he looks forward to fashion week now…lol!!
All in all it was an amazing trip to New York!

Let\’s hope I do get to go to Paris this coming September in conjunction with New York, wow will I more than enjoy exploring that city, and then sharing it with you guys. Also because it has been on my list of MUST GO PLACES forever now. I hope you all enjoyed the post, the fashion side of my trip will be up in the next couple days, I also posted a ton of content on my Instagram account (@DanaStargazerTruitt) just look for the story highlights named #NYFW.
Thanks for following and reading, and don\’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Twitter!

No-Bake Treats For Piper!!

~Cookies Please?!~

Hello All and Happy Saturday!!
I have shared so many great recipes with you guys, but this one is one of my favorites, it’s a recipe for your pups. Piper absolutely loves them, so I have a feeling your dogs will too. Now don’t get me wrong, there are so many treats you can buy from the store for your dog, so I’m sure you’re asking why would I want to go to all the trouble of making them myself when I can just get them at the grocery store? Well first off those treats are pretty pricey, and ok… so you want to treat your dog every once in a while …which is fine, but look at the ingredients just once the next time you buy them. You will see that most of them you can’t even pronounce, let alone understand what the heck they are. Plus they add so many preservatives and other garbage to extend their shelf life, all in all it’s just not good for them. I like making them because number one I literally made them with my own hands, so I know for sure that every ingredient is healthy and natural. I know that they’re good for her, and that makes me feel good about feeding them to her. Plus it’s a super easy, no-bake recipe, that only requires a few items anyone can find in their kitchen.

Supplies you will need:
*A medium size bowl
*A spoon
*A measuring cup
*Some parchment paper/or Pam spray to slick         the cookie sheet
*A cookie sheet
*A plate

Dog Ingredients:
1/3 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 1/2 cups of old fashion oats (split in two parts of 2 cups and 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup of vitamin D milk
1 cup of puréed pumpkin

Instructions:
Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper or nonstick cooking spray, this will keep them from sticking. Sit the cookie sheet aside and combine all of the ingredients in the medium sized bowl, and fold them together. One they are well mixed, pour the 1/2 cup of oats we set aside onto a plate. Then use a small spoon to scoop up a small amount and roll it into a ball. Make sure your hands are wet, this keeps the mixture from sticking to your hands while you roll them into little balls. Then once you have a nice ball roll it in the oats on the plate to give them a nice coating. Then place them on the cookie sheet, be sure to space them evenly so they don’t harden together. Once you roll and coat them all, just cover and place them in the fridge for about 2 hrs until they harden.
Once they’re done put them in a Tupperware bowl and cover, they’re good for 8-10 days in the fridge.

Piper absolutely loves them, which makes me feel like I’m doing something right. As you can see in the pictures she stalked them until she got one 😂, she is such a little pip! It’s so funny because she’s only 5 months old and already she has the amazing characteristics of an adult dog. I’ve been debating on weather or not to take her to New York with me for Fashion Week because a. She’s my baby and of course I don’t want to leave her for a week with someone I don’t even know at some kennel, where she could catch kennel cough. That means I would have to take her to the vet to get a kennel cough vaccine because it’s very contagious. Now don’t get me wrong Piper is a doll…when it comes to me. When it comes to anyone else she wants no parts of anyone, plus she’s very mouthy. Sometimes she does a lot of vocalizing (aka yapping) to let anyone and everyone know to stay the hell away. Especially when food is involved, when I take her to restaurants with me she gets grumpy because I think she in turn thinks the waitress or waiter is trying to take the food, which she thinks of as her food. It’s hilarious!! I think is she is to go to NYC with us I will have to get her in a serious bootcamp mode the next two weeks. Otherwise she could start barking at ladies that come up and down the runway LOL, and we can’t have that! The good thing is she’s so tiny I can fit her in just about any bag I have, that may be my saving grace. If she goes we will be wearing matching styles such as bows, scarves, and T-shirt’s. I even saw a matching sweater set for Furmama and Furbaby on Etsy. I’m definitely thinking about scoping one, it will be so cute!! I’m so excited about the whole trip, and hopefully before I leave my video set will be complete and we can put out our first official video.
Thanks to all of you that have been supporting us on YouTube, you’re all so amazing.

My YouTube Set!

You Tube Here We Come!
Happy Tuesday Dolls, I really need your help and opinions on something!! This week I started a YouTube channel (Subscribe Here!) so I plan to start producing videos soon. Naturally I want to make a production space in my photography studio, aka the spare bedroom. It also doubles as the spot where I get ready, do my hair, makeup, and get dressed..😂 it’s a room for a bit of everything. I plan to take one corner over by the window due to the light, and decorate it in a cute and cozy manor with a colorful and fun decor. I was in Marshall’s yesterday where I saw a couple of adorable chairs. The first one had a perfect light pink hue to it so it’s naturally my favorite, you guys know how I adore the color pink. I also really loved the tufted button detail, it gives the chair a chic antique feel.

It’s  also big enough that I can decorate it with one or two cute throw pillows. I also saw two other styles, one had a high wing back and is an off-white color. I fear it may be a tad to vanilla for my taste, but I love the look. Then there was one with a print, I was thinking to stay away from patterns only because it’s tougher for it to match other pieces to unless you\’re ready to shell out a good nit of cash to buy all matching pieces. This pattern also seems a bit old school for my taste, but again I like the general look of the chair, it has character. The back almost reminds me of a seashell, it\’s really cool looking.

I was thinking to try some interesting little antique shops in Ellicot City MD, in one of those shops I could find items with some swanky character, unique items that you don;t see mass produced for huge stores. No matter what it is it has to be inviting, due to the fact that I’ll be using it as a set. I want to pair an interesting side table and area rug, something round and fluffy to match the throw pillows. I have this idea in my head, but haven’t seen anything that catches my eye online at the furniture stores. If you know anywhere good please help me out, I want a unique flare.

I like the marble it’s so classy and it had two plugs built into the side of the table which will be very convenient, the wooden table is cute but not feminine enough so it won\’t fit in amongst everything.. It seems to be the opposite of the vibe I want to achieve. I searched google and Pinterest for inspiration, here are a few that I saw that came close to the picture in my head. This first one was my favorite because of the color scheme, it’s light fresh and feminine.

(All inspirational images where captured from Pinterest)

I just want the chair to have a little more character, I definitely want the tufted button design as I already explained, that is a MUST HAVE for me. I want it on the back and seat. More like the first chair I showed you above, maybe with a chic antique appeal like this one just below. The chair is perfect and I love the table, it has a neat design of what looks like a twig or branch. I love interesting details like that. I also think the wall decor is very important, I think all the little extras add that coziness to the area.

Another inspirational photo just below, so so cute. I wish the color was a little more pink and
pastel-ish, plus no buttons…i am loving the table and mirror because they match. I definitely would love to find something like that. I\’m not so thrilled about the pillow and rug, but love the vase and flowers.

This next inspirational image has the full package and literally makes you think ….\”Wow that would be the ideal spot to chill and just relax.\” I adore the faux fur blanket, adorable pillows, lamp, and matching picture. Then the additions to the table with the flowers and nick-knacks, there is even matching fresh flowers. This is almost perfect, I don’t dig the floral image in the picture, I think something with a fun quote or a little round mirror like inspirational image #1 would be spot on. I really love the white marble table top, the only thing is there’s no button tufted details. Maybe I can replicate this image with one of the above chairs and similar pieces.

I had an idea for a 2nd type of chair, it’s called a chaise lounge chair. It’s bigger and allows chillin\’ space as I call it, and a gal always need that. Plus it will give extra room for Piper to stretch out next to me, she always loves to lay with me when I work on my laptop or tablet. She is such a lap dog, she has to be wherever I am at all times. I was thinking about getting her a matching bed, because the spoiled little cutie just has to have her own spot. Funny thing is it will be a waste because as I said, she\’ll just lay on the chair next to me.

It looks so darn classy and chic just what I love, plus it\’s covered in buttons with the cute tufted effect. It looks like it would be a dream to sit on as well, this is the inviting feel I was talking about. Then I could add a faux fur rug, a supper fluffy one with matching pillows, and maybe a light pink or colorful one to add a pop of color.
I really love the plush soft look and feel of sheepskin throws and pillows.

I only worry that with all the white rugs, pillows and throws it will be a bore, so I need some color and with pink being my favorite color it will have to play a good role. There has to be color to capture the eye, so I could keep the white sheepskin rug and go with a pink knot pillow and throw, then add one white sheepskin pillow.

This is where I need your help, what plays better to your eye??

A. Pink braided blanket and pillow with a white sheepskin pillow.
B. Sheepskin blanket and pillow with the pink knot pillow.
Or
C. Please tell me your idea if you have one better because I’m stumped 😂 and depending on you guys for input.

You’re going to be watching the videos, so please tell me what you would love to see. I think adding a cute little scene with the mirror on the wall would be much better than the pink sparkly backdrop. Let me tell you guys a little something about myself you may not know, I was a floral designer for 20 plus years. I did weddings, funerals, and parties, as well as everyday arrangements that get delivered to your door. I want to share that with you, it’s the one job I had that never felt like work because flowers are just good for the soul. They always brightened up my day, so like I said I want to share that with you guys so hopefully I can help brighten up your day. I plan to do bi weekly video tutorials on how to make all kinds of different fresh flower arrangements. I think it would be fun and I love to be creative. I have to get a design table or find a way to use the one I already have in the garage. It’s not to cute but maybe I could give it a surface restoration and have Rob sandblast the top so I can restain then seal it and give it new life. Or perhaps I could find a matching set that I can use for next to the chair and to design on. Yeah I obviously have quite a bit of work to do, but I definitely can’t wait to share it with you guys once it’s done. We’re in the middle of remodeling our master bath so the house is a bit upside down right now, I’m so glad my studio is off to itself and unaffected…so far that is 😂. Well back to work, I also want to let you guys know I have a great post coming up tomorrow, it\’s all about the killer outfit I got on a super tight budget, you won’t believe it. Heck I still don’t believe it. Speaking of new outfits I have to share the cute cute new hookup I got from my favorite spot Pink by Victoria’s Secret. Now you guys know me I just love bright and colorful, so when I saw this set I just had to have it. Plus look 👀 at the cute quarter zip sweatshirt, it’s so comfy and goes perfect with my VS saddlebag. I just can’t decide which kicks looks better with the colors, what do you think white or purple?? Hmm…….🤔

As you can see in the below image Piper and I are just chillin’ this week in our cozy spot on the floor, on top of our favorite cozy blankets. It was so darn cold in Baltimore this past week, so we plugged in the space heater and just relaxed in front of it. See we had an issue with a nasty freak wind storm that came through, not long after we lost power for 5 or 6 hours. In that kind of weather the house gets cold super fast, so Rob fired up the generator, he got us up and running again until they fixed it. I’m so glad he’s good with his hands and knows what to do, otherwise we would have had some serious issues.

We popped some bubbly and had some pizza 🍕 as you can see in the image I\’m getting the stare from Piper. I think she wants some too!! I think she was saying Mama pop that bottle already 😂!! Oh I almost forgot to show you the Dooney and Bourke bag I saw at Marshall’s, it has little Oriole’s O’s all over it. OMGoodness  I just had to take a picture and show you guys, that’s the emblem for our Baltimore MD baseball team the Oriole\’s. I love it!! I had no idea they made those, it makes me wonder what else they have I didn’t know about.

Piper says she definitely wants one, she said she could fit perfectly inside. I’m wembling on weather I should have got one or not, but I just got a new Kate Spade ♠️ not long ago, so I’ll just love it from afar.
Ps….I’m just loving Piper’s crooked little ears, whatcha think? 😂

My Star Wars Obsession

Star Wars & Pancakes!!

I don\’t think I\’ve ever shared my love of Star Wars with you guys…hmmm I guess there\’s no time like the present. With the new movie coming out I decided to turn our first snow day into a Star Wars Movie Day!! I wanted to think of something fun, interesting and yummy, so I went all out and created a Star Wars themed pancake bar with all the trimmings, I even found some themed pancakes at the grocery store. I wrapped the table top in a fun holiday themed paper that I found at the toy store. I just used regular wrapping paper and covered the top then tucked the edges up under the edges. It looked so much better than any ole\’ table cloth, and it gave a bright and colorful look to the whole look. From there I took several small condiment bowls, and filled them with lots of different toppings and garnishes like fresh fruit, nutella, chocolate chips, and marshmallows. I like to use the fresh fruit more than anything because its so yummy, colorful and healthy.
As you can see the colorful appeal of the toppings looks fantastic atop of the theme paper.

Since it was a pancake bar I decided to go with the breakfast theme and make some strawberry orange juices, I also added in a bowl of donuts, crunchy peanut butter, pancake syrup, and sprinkles. Then because it was a movie day, I added in couple of (overflowing with popcorn) movie theater popcorn boxes, the ones with the red and white stripes. When I see those the first thing I think of is the movie theater. I also scattered popcorn all over the table to tie the movie theme in and give it a cohesive look. To top it off and finish the look, I added some of the cutest Star Wars figurines here and there on the table. I added in a plate of fried eggs and turkey bacon, to go with the pancakes and OJ. All in all I have to say I\’m pretty pleased with the final results, let\’s just say I accomplished the idea of something fun and different…lol!!

Look at these pancakes…the cutest ever right? They have six different faces of the characters from the movies, I couldn\’t of found anything better or more fitting for my little idea. You ever get a crazy idea that you just have to follow through on?..lol!! Let\’s just say that by the end of the day we where more than pumped and ready to see the new movie. Did you see it yet?? I won\’t put out any spoilers, I\’ll just say it\’s amazing!! If you\’re a Star Wars family like we are you\’re gonna LOVE IT!!

I hope you guys enjoyed my little craziness as much as Rob did, it was fun and like I said something different. I\’m just realizing Christmas is almost here…Wow this year went by so so fast! I\’m so excited about spending time with my family, and the possibilities of a whole new year of new experiences. I\’m also super eager to go to New York Fashion Week in February, especially since it will be cold weather. I love cold weather because of the fashion, nothing is better than a cuddly and warm North Face fleece, a cute pair of skinny jeans and over the knee boots. Now that\’s a killer look in my opinion, and it\’s comfortable. As you can see in the images below I was outside enjoying the tiny bit of snow we did get in the same exact style. I\’m excited for more snow because I love sitting by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa, snuggling up with cute little Piper. There\’s nothing better, and that\’s a kind of cozy you just can\’t get when it\’s 80 degrees outside…am I right?
I have to admit though, I will always enjoy my ice cream…cold or not…lol!! Piper even got in on the first snow fun with me, but for her it was a first snow in two ways…or as they say the last first. She has never experienced snow before, I\’m so glad she loves it as much as her Mama. She stayed nice and warm in her cute little coat as she frolicked around sniffing and exploring. With her crazy curiosity I can see I\’m in for it, you guys have a wonderful week and stay warm!!
Also Have a Very Happy Holiday & New Year Everyone

Christmas Vibes!

Christmas is in the Air
We want to Valley View Farms in Hunt Valley MD, they always have the most amazing Christmas tree displays. It\’s like a little Christmas Wonderland, with around 50 plus differently decorated Christmas trees of all kinds. They have all of the coolest train sets up with the most detailed little cities and moving extras. We took Piper with us so she could see all the neat stuff, and boy did she react in such a cool way. She sniffed and tried to chew everything she saw, I could see the look of amazement in her cute little face.
There were several little decorated trees that I really loved, they have an Emoji tree with the cutest little emojis including a pink poop emoji. I posted a video below that includes Piper\’s oh-so-cute reaction. As she\’s getting older I\’m taking her more and more places. I plan to take her to the zoo this coming summer, it was so much fun to do with Nunah that I definitely can\’t wait to take Piper.

I wish I could show you every video I have, if you keep an eye out on Instagram you\’ll see more of the videos in my stories. I walked around for over an hour looking at everything and you know I had to grab a few cute items. I also got a new Keurig Coffee Maker this week, I can\’t wait to use it for a week or so to find out just how amazing it is. Ya\’ll know how much I love hot chocolate which it makes in a flash, I would have to say I\’m officially hooked. Then all things aligned and it snowed yesterday not 30 minutes after I opened the box, if that isn\’t fate I don\’t know what is….lol!! Well I\’m gonna get back to my big ole\’ cup of hot chocolate.
I\’ll have some super fun DIY holiday fun, food, and fashion posts coming up very soon both here on the blog and my Instagram page. I almost forgot to tell you guys, Piper has her own page now so please drop by and follow @PiperThePin , we\’ll both be doing plenty of holiday giveaways this week and next.

WooHoo…New Year\’s Eve Outfit & Plans!

\”New Year\’s Eve Outfit & Plans!!\”
I scored the cutest outfit for New Year\’s Eve from Macy\’s for under $1oo. It\’s a super cute sequin shirt dress that I plan to wear some black leggings and a black spaghetti strap tank with. I paired it with the flats in this shot, but I think it will look better with a pair of above the knee boots. I think it would look better with the boots, especially since it\’s a roaring twenties theme. What do you think….flats or boots? Have you made your New Year\’s Eve plans yet? If not now\’s the time, because Rob and I scored a pair of tickets to: The Charm City Countdown featuring: Chicago at the BWI Hilton. It\’s gonna be such a good time, the tickets are all inclusive so there\’s an open bar all night, a dinner buffet, there\’s a champagne toast at midnight, along with 10 party zones, and 12 bands, not to melon much much more. You guys should definitely join us, for more info or to order yourself some tickets just got to http://www.charmcitycountdown.com
At checkout make sure you add the discount code: STARGAZER and get $5 off your ticket!
If you have any questions feel free to ask away, or contact them via DM by way of Instagram @CharmCityCountdown
It\’s going to be the best of the best when it comes to New Year\’s Eve parties, they have one every year, and each time it just get\’s better and better.

I\’m super eager to hear what you\’re going to be wearing for New Year\’s Eve, and where you\’re going? I really wanted to buy a full on flapper dress to wear since the theme is the roaring 20\’s (so much fun) but I don\’t think I can get Rob to wear a matching look, so I just went with super sparkly. You can\’t go wrong with sequins for NYE…lol! I\’ve talked to a bunch of my friends that went to the Charm City Countdown last year and I\’ve got nothing but great feedback, which is why I\’m so excited to go.
Watch the preview!!

WHO\’S GONNA JOIN ME!??

Our Baltimore Inner Harbor Shoot!!!

Our 1st Shoot Together!
Piper did her first shoot with me this week, and I have to say my little cutie is a natural. She did so well despite the fact that it was her first time around so many people. She has a star quality that just attracts people to us, every other person asks how old she is, how much she weighs, how much she will weight, and what kind of a dog she is. Then comes what is her name and does she bite…lol!! She\’s so darn tiny and cute that people just can\’t help themselves, and I have to say if the shoe was on the other foot and she were someone else\’s dog, I would probably do the same. Everyone assumes she is a chihuahua, I guess because of her size because see she looks nothing like a Chi. Either way I\’m so happy about my decision to get Piper after loosing Nunah, only because I was so super sad. I felt like I had this huge hole that nothing could fill, and it was so weird without her. Piper definitely doesn\’t replace Nunah nothing ever will, but she sure helps a heck of a lot. Piper brings joy back into my home and life, I thank goodness for her every day. We went to the Baltimore Inner Harbor for the pictures, it\’s a beautiful and quite busy spot. Now note the most walking on a leash that Piper had done up to this point was for a minute or two on our street, so I was very proud of her when she walked so good for a couple hours. Just like a baby, she\’s so curious and gets into everything, it\’s so funny and adorable.
When we placed her on the Merry-Go-Round she was all over back and forth, she just can\’t be still for a second, so I can\’t wait until she get\’s the hang of posing like Nunah did. We are taking Piper in on the 8th to have her ears cropped and get her microchip, she\’s gonna look even cuter with cropped ears. I just hate the fact that she will have to wear the cone of shame for 2 weeks, something tells me she\’s gonna hate it even more because she hates anything on her. It\’s a fight just to get her little harness on, not to mention how she chews the heck out of the tag on her collar. I cant imagine that silly thing around her neck. Thank goodness I found one of the best in my area, she\’s been cropping for over 40yrs. That makes me feel a little better, but I\’m still going to worry like heck.
Regardless of her craziness and inability to concentrate she did remarkably well, as did the quite amazing gal who shot our pics. You definitely have to look for these pictures on my Instagram page to get her info, she\’s running a giveaway for a free photo session. She\’s super sweet and helpful, not to mention great with a camera. In the image I\’m wearing a fantastic top from White House Black Market, I got it for under $60 during the Black Friday Sales. I wore it with a cute pair of American Eagle Outfitters destroyed denim jeggings, and a pair of black Guess riding boots. Then I finished it  off with my white Kate Spade Saddle Bag, nothing crazy just the cute comfy style I love so much. If you look closely at the image you\’l see the oh-so-cute ear muffs I got for $20 from Kate Spade on Black Friday as well. Kate Spade is one of my all time favorite spots to shop, especially when there\’s a HUGE sale…lol!
Aren\’t they adorable??
I can\’t wait for weather cold enough to wear them…lol! The inner ear part is nice and furry, and the ouster side and edges are super soft due to the sweater material they\’re made out of. I think they\’ll go perfectly with my black trench, I also have a great black card sweater that looks like it was made for these. I love it when I buy stuff and find that when I get home it coincidentally matches some other thins in my closet. It doesn\’t happen all the time, but you know what I mean about that awesome feeling of accomplishment you get when it does…lol! Plus look at the cute little kitty face details, it doesn\’t get any better than that. All in all the it was a really good day, Piper and I made a cool and talented new friend. I can\’t wait to hear what you guys think of the pictures, also keep and eye out, I have some great new posts and giveaways coming up here and on Instagram.
Speaking of giveaways I have a great one for you guys NOW!!
Have a Marvelous Monday

Thanksgiving Dinner at Seasons 52

This blog post is sponsored by Seasons52, all experiences and opinions are 100% mine and mine alone.
Enjoy the post and please comment with your thoughts!

What a Meal!!
Rob and I weren\’t able to spend Thanksgiving with our families this year so we decided to find a great little spot and eat out, that way we I didn\’t have to go to all the trouble of cooking. On Wednesday I did a little research to see where the best spots where when I came across a great little spot called Seasons 52 online, it was listed online as one of the top 10 places in my area for Thanksgiving dinner. They have a seasonally inspired menu, so they\’re always serving food at it\’s freshest point when it\’s in season, and we all know that\’s when it tastes the best. I had also heard from friends and family that they had great food, so we decided to give it a try, boy am I glad we did. I got super lucky that I was able to get a table due to my late reservation, thank goodness they were more than accommodating and found some room for us. We went to the one at Columbia Mall, in Columbia Maryland. Let me start off by saying that from the moment you pull up they take care of you, they offer free valet parking for their customers. What a pleasure that was! When you walk in the door you see the coolest fountain. The whole place has an air of class due to the modern style decor, with just a hint of Asian charm. The lines are all clean with natural stone and rich red hued wood, for me it all set the perfect tone. We were welcomed at the door, and led to a really cute little booth where we sat.
All of the tables where neatly set and everything looked on point, Rob and I were excited and hungry so we got straight to ordering. We both got the Thanksgiving platters which included roasted turkey (white and dark meat) mashed potatoes, savory pan gravy, and herb stuffing, fresh green beans, housemade cranberry relish, mashed butternut squash, and a delish dessert. The butternut squash was topped with pomegranate seeds and the rest scallions. I also ordered a Cranberry & Sage Cocktail, wow was is good. Our waitress Monica was super helpful, she explained everything on the Thanksgiving menu to us, as it was our first time dinning at Seasons. If you go ask for her, she\’s a great waitress!! The turkey we ate is called Roasted \”Never Ever\” Turkey, because it\’s turkey that has never ever been given antibiotics. I love that because now-a-days it\’s hard to get clean food that you feel good about eating. Seasons has so many amazing healthy choices that taste absolutely out of this world. Everything on the plate was great, I don\’t have one complaint. I really liked the turkey and green beans, and the mashed potatoes and gravy.. WOW!! Rob mimicked my every thought, he loved everything as well. Then just when I thought I couldn\’t eat another bite and it couldn\’t get any better they brought out the dessert tray. As you can see in the pictures below it was amazing, you guys know me with dessert…it\’s the best part of the meal..lol!

I got the S\’mores to the right and Rob got the Pumpkin to the left….so rich and yummy. I also loved that it was just the right size too.
I can tell you one thing we\’ll definitely be going back. I can\’t wait to try everything on the menu. They also have a bar w/a great Happy Hour that I can\’t wait to go back to check out. Right now they\’re running a special, if you buy $100 in gift cards you get a $20 bonus card to enjoy the New Year. You\’ll also receive a 10% bonus gift card when you spend $500 or more. You can\’t beat that, a Seasons 52 gift card is the perfect gift for friends and family. That\’s a meal that they\’ll definitely thank you for.
(Bonus card valid for use in-resturant starting January 1, 2018 through March 31st, 2018)
We were good and full when we left, and I told Rob how I loved that all throughout the meal they checked on us to make sure all was well and we were happy.
It was the best service and everyone was really nice, I recommend this restaurant 100% and like I said we\’re for sure going back, when you find a good little spot like this you don\’t forget it.
I am really curious to go back and try another one of their signature cocktails.

I would have to say you aren\’t to fast at the Black Friday Sales when your tummy is packed full of turkey…lol! We went to Arundle Mills Mall to take advantage of the sales and get a few things. I also wanted to see if I could grab a bag from Kate Spade for my girl Lei. Everything was 75% off, and I managed to get her the most adorable bag for under $70. She\’s gonna love it!! I also hit up Victoria\’s Secret (as y\’all know) one of my absolute faves. I also dropped in American Eagle Outfitters to grab a couple pair of jeans, 40% off definitely speaks to me. When there\’s sales like that I just can\’t resist. I make a metal note of all the stuff I want during the year for sales like these. I scored big at Kate Spade during the Veteran\’s Day sale, I got the cutest little lavender bag shown above for under $70. When I get a deal like that a girl tends to feel proud of her self. I went into Micheal Kors and after waiting 15 mins in line just to get into the store, I did a little looking around and found a really cute bag for $80. Then I got a look at the line to check out and decided I wasn\’t going to wait. Now you guys know how much I love MK, and that it had to be dam bad for me NOT TO BUY that bag…lol!! I had to wait in line to get into Kate Spade too, but they had 5 cashiers so the line moved super fast. WOW was that mall packed full of people, we also stopped at Best Buy to get one pf those flat screen televisions to replace the security monitors, but they were all gone after 30 minutes. Oh well guess we weren\’t fast enough, I\’m just glad it was an uneventful trip because I\’m exhausted from all the eating and shopping.
I can\’t wait to share all of my new finds with you guys, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate like kings and queens. It\’s been a tough year for me due to loss. Hashem took my Nunah but in turn he gave me my little Piper. He has also given me so so much to be thankful for like the amazing friends I have, and the huge and quite fantastic family I have. Then there\’s Rob my other half, I couldn\’t ask for a better man and partner in crime. We make an awesome team, it\’s so crazy to think how far we\’ve come as a pair. He\’s always there to encourage me in anything I want to do, no matter how stupid or oddball he\’s always got my back. I\’m thankful for our beautiful home and the great life we have created….I have to say at this point there\’s no-one else I\’d rather be than me. I am so content it scares me. Well Piper is out like a light sound asleep on my lap as I sit here in the computer room at 2am blogging away. I guess I better take myself to bed, keep a lookout on
(My Instagram Page) for upcoming shots of dinner and the great stuff I scored at the sale today.

Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving Holiday Everyone!!
